160 YEARS OF ART AND DESIGN
Northampton School of Arts

Created in response to a Stocks Taylor Benson brief, this project celebrates 160 years of art and design in Northampton through a contemporary visual identity for the Northampton School of Arts. Drawing on archival research, the concept was inspired by an existing campus sculpture by Michael Kenny, using its geometric forms to create a flexible, modular wordmark system. Supported by a CMYK-inspired colour palette and a timeline-based motion piece, the project connects the institution’s rich creative heritage with its future, showcasing the evolution of art and design through branding, typography, and motion design.
